I don’t really have the inspiration to write down anything at all these days, mostly because of the confusing state of mind, grueling school work, and high pressure. But, as tomorrow marks the 22ed birthday for one of my best friend-Candy, I feel it is necessary to write down something, in token of my blessing.
Candy and I have known each other for 6 years. It is a very long time. Deep down, I think it is a bit hard for 2 different people to go that long and always maintain nice friendship. She is a very nice friend, which is of no doubt at all. Her outgoing character and good personality bring her lots of friends. I feel warm with her.
She always tells me that friendship that undergoes the test of time should be appreciated and cherished. Over time, we are losing contact with some former nice friends, but, there are always some being with us. In hard times, we got it through with mutual encouragement. There are a lot of fragrant memories. I am so emotional that I always feel grateful for what she has done for me. Nothing can get any better than that in our life.
Tomorrow, it will see your birthday. It will be a crazy day because we will go out and have fun with a lot of friends.
It made me laugh when you told me about your plan of the birthday party. There are some friends of yours coming to join us in the party. But, you worry I will be left alone as I don’t even get to know them. How silly! It is just unnecessary for you to worry at all. Dispel that silly thought from your mind here and now, as I can absolutely get along well with them. Don’t under-estimate my communication ability as you know I am quite sociable and please be confident of my ability. Moreover, you should be optimistic that your friends are all nice and eclectic.
It feels so good that I can be surrounded by such nice friends. I couldn’t ask for more at this particular point. When my head hit the pillow tonight, I can fondly fall asleep and dream of our crazy party tomorrow.
Maybe one day, after graduation, we will be miles and miles apart. Perhaps, we will be separated by mountains and rivers, but, there is something filling my heart, as always, and that is our nice friendship which is as fragrant as odorous flowers. When the winds blown with flowery fragrance blended in it, I will always think of our great memories…
